Galaxy S Plus gets an alpha version of CyanogenMod 9
You hacker, you have a Galaxy S Plus and you’re tired of Android Gingerbread? Then you should consider installing an alternative version of the latest operating system.
Fully developed by Arco68, a version of CyanogenMod is slowly enthusiasm to surface on the Samsung GT-i9001 (aka Galaxy S Plus). More clearly, it is based on Android Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0.4) without the TouchWiz interface (well over) and is currently in its second alpha phase.
What works on Galaxy S Plus:
* Audio Calls (receive and transmit), GPS, compass, proximity sensor, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB transfer, and video hardware acceleration
What does not:
* Camera, FM Radio and USB tethering
As I stated in the title, it is indeed an alpha version which will have to evolve, and so fill the missing features and fix little bugs persistent. Galaxy S Plus
